I had so much fun in Hawaii celebrating my 10 year anniversary with my husband, Marc. It was a beautiful place to be and I would love to go back someday... maybe even take the kids. I promise to post some of my favorite photos soon. For now, I have plenty of work to catch up on including 3 sneak peeks to post. This first one is of a gorgeous 8 day old little man that I had the pleasure of photographing. He was such a little trooper through the entire session. Here's a few of my favorites, but there are going to be so many great ones to choose from!

This session was for a fresh little guy and his big sister. I photographed big sis when she was an infant. I love to see how they blossom and grow. 

This little guy was definitely a rock star in my book! While not quite a newborn-- I think he was about 6 weeks old at the time of our session, he was such a cooperative little trooper. When I saw the nursery, my jaw dropped and I knew that we HAD to get some photos there! Mom painted the mural on the wall and did such a fabulous job with the colors and decorations in the room-- amazing! So in addition to a few images, I'm posting an animoto video with most of the images from the session. Enjoy!

Believe it or not... these pictures were taken in the last couple weeks here in Leesburg, Virginia! We had a 70 degree day and it just so happened that this family was coming to my studio... well we scrapped the studio idea and opted to enjoy the weather! I think for a 2 year old (and us older kids, too)-- this was a great idea and I'm so glad the weather allowed us to get out. Did I mention that I am so ready for SPRING? BTW, if you look closely at the steps in the 3rd photo, you'll see salt crystals. I think it had just snowed a couple days before. CRAZY!

I was away for far too long... so I'll have MANY new sneak peeks coming over the next couple days! I am so eager for spring-- cold weather, please go away! This first sneak peek is of a gorgeous 11 day old little guy who loved his sleep. Often, parents tell me that their newborn just sleeps all day... but when I come along that isn't always the case. For this little man, it was! He's perfect-- hope you guys are enjoying him :)
