I am guilty... I am and have been for years, in love with COLOR! It really adds something special to a look ... and thus, a photograph. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting being so over the top that the focus is not on the subject-- but please don't be shy to add some color-- at any age!

Now for newborns and babies...  my love of color is combined with texture and yet another art of sorts... knitting and crocheting.... I suppose this is called needle art. The creativity and skill of women (and men) on Etsy and Hyenacart amaze me. Although I can knit and sew... these are time consuming crafts, and these artists do it so much better than I can. However, February 10, 2009 may be the end to the sale of many one-of-a-kind handmade items. I pray that handmade products for children survive the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).
